What needs to be in place first?
Your Powerplay247 ID must be issued and you must be able to log in with OTP. The deposit screen shows a payee that Powerplay247 generated for that session. If WhatsApp sends you a personal name and a random VPA, stop, because that isn't the wallet.
How does the UPI deposit work?
- Open the deposit screen on the app or site and choose UPI. GPay, PhonePe and Paytm are common, but use whatever the screen lists.
- Pay the exact amount shown, because a rounded figure creates a mismatch.
- Screenshot the success screen and copy the UTR or UPI reference exactly as printed.
- Paste the UTR if Powerplay247 asks for it. Leave the request pending, and don't send a second payment for the same top-up.
A failed UPI payment, where the money comes back to your bank, is different from a pending one. Pending means the money left your bank but Powerplay247 hasn't matched it yet. Retrying after a failure is fine, but retrying while a payment is pending creates a double payment. What are the deposit limits?
The minimum and maximum are set on your ID and shown that day. Many first UPI top-ups start at about ₹250, but don't assume a maximum. If your bank's UPI limit declines the payment, try a smaller amount or another listed method. Crypto and net banking are available only if your ID shows them.
