Betting Case Studies

Common betting goals, worked through with real maths

These case studies take popular betting goals, such as growing ₹5,000 during the IPL or making quick profits on the toss, and work through what they require. Each one uses a hypothetical bankroll, real odds maths and clear assumptions. They show how stake size and losing runs shape results. None of them is a promise of returns.

All case studies

Each study sets out the bankroll, the odds and the assumptions first, so you can follow the numbers yourself.

01

How are these case studies built?

Every study uses a hypothetical player and bankroll. The odds are typical of what the market shows, and the chances come from those odds. Where a result depends on an assumption, such as a 60% hit rate, the page says so.

02

Why no real winners?

Powerplay247 only publishes a player's results with their permission. Until then, worked examples are more useful than screenshots, because they show the losing runs as well as the winning ones.

Past results never guarantee future ones

Frequently asked questions

3 questions

Are these real Powerplay247 player results?

No. They use hypothetical bankrolls to show the maths. Real player results are only shared with permission.

Which case study should I read first?

The small budget strategy, if you are new. It shows how stake size decides whether a budget survives a normal losing run.

Do the case studies recommend a betting system?

They recommend flat stakes and loss limits for managing money. They do not recommend any system for picking winners.
